Machines : 3 Xray Machines + 1 flouroscopy 1 Mammo 1 BMD Usg : 7 machines for USG

CT scan : 128 slice CT Scanner MRI : 3T MR PET CT

The work load is very good , since it’s the only tertiary care hospital In Thane with around 150 X-rays, 60-70 USG, 35 CT, 20 MRI scans daily .

There is a good spectrum of cases .

Hands on is good , but it depends on the amount of effort the resident puts in .

Residents are allowed to write provisional reports for CT and MR , do USG scans under supervision of seniors, residents are sent for intra op Doppler for liver transplants,

Biopsy hands on is less but we get to assist and observe a lot of interventions like biopsies , pig tails , etc Residents get independent on call duties .

Residents are free to ask any doubts to the consultants and the consultants are all good and willing to teach . Daily morning Lectures/case presentations with monthly neuro-radio and nephro-radio and pulmo-radio meets meets.

Stipend is 66, 68, 70k per year

Accommodation is not provided but there are a lot of options for rent nearby .

Apart from this jupiter also has a scan center where you can get postings on rotational basis. Modalities available are Xray , USG, CT , MRI .
